King's, part of Principe Food, one of the Italian leaders in Parma ham production.
Case History:
After successfully designing, installing and running two other plants for a sister company, the Client asked us to identify the right CHP for its Langhirano plant. Based on the electric base load we identified the best solution to be a 400kWe CHP with production of hot water. In order to ensure that the project would respect the parameters set by applicable laws on useful heat, we conducted several tests to measure the true thermal energy need, and were able to confirm the initial assumptions. We provided the full range of project management services and delivered on an installation that is currently running with a 63% efficiency.
